Can you solve a Rubik's cube?
George Scholey (UK) is a speedcubing champion - that means he's won awards and broken records for how fast he can solve a Rubik's cube.
This time, he decided to combine his talent for speedcubing with his love for fitness and break the record for the most rotating puzzle cubes solved while running a marathon... 520! 😮

George ran the London Marathon, which all the runners agree has an unequalled magic.✨

However, each runner was also on a mission to help important causes they really cared about by collecting money through their participation in the marathon.
As Chris "Rhino Boy" Green, who ran the fastest marathon dressed as a mammal in 2021, told us: "Passion pushes you to do things you would have never thought possible.
"I never thought I would be able to complete one marathon when I first ran dressed as a rhino."
"You keep doing it because of the fun, the elation, but you also see the positive effects it has," he explained, talking about the positive results of the fundraising.
So how did George feel at the end of his endeavour?
"It was amazing," he told us - and we couldn't be happier for him. 🤩
George has already broken the records for most rotating puzzles solved on a skateboard and most rotating puzzle cubes solved in 24 hours.

“This year marks the 50th anniversary of Rubik’s Cube, so I wanted to mark that too while raising money for a charity,” George explained.
