South Africa’s Oratilwe AJ Hlongwane is a seriously talented five year old.

He officially became the world's Youngest club DJ after performing an hour-long set at a bar in Cosmo City, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Oratilwe's stage name is DJ Arch Jnr and he won South Africa’s Got Talent back in 2015, aged just three years old!

For the record attempt, the talented youngster played on professional DJ decks to an audience of 100 people.

A huge audience turned up to watch the set

The five year old has taken the title from six-year-old Itsuki Morita from Japan, who we announced as the record holder in March 2017.

"When I got the news on my way home from work, I just started screaming so loud because I couldn't believe it was real," said Oratilwe’s extremely proud father Glen.

"When I told little AJ the news, he was just filled with smiles - though I'm not sure if he understands how Officially Amazing he is for getting this title."

When asked how he wanted to celebrate, the young DJ requested some cupcakes.

Youngest club DJ attempt

Oratilwe first started DJing when he was just eight months old, after his father bought him an iPad Mini. He started playing on DJ apps and his skills just kept on improving, even though he was so young.

He now practices on professional DJ gear, which he had to use in order to get the Guinness World Records title.

"Oratilwe doesn't just have the skills for DJing, but also has the style to go with it," says dad Glen. "He really enjoys playing in front of a crowd and enjoys every moment on the decks. I am over the moon that he is now officially the world's youngest club DJ."
