Most times to squat lift own bodyweight in one minute (female)
Karenjeet Kaur Bains (UK) used all of her strength to achieve this record, performing 42 reps in 60 seconds.
Not only is Karenjeet a record breaker – she’s the first Sikh female to represent Great Britain in powerlifting.
Even though she spends most days working at her job in an office, Karenjeet still finds time to train six days per week. 🏋️♀️
Karenjeet first began the male-dominated sport of powerlifting when she was 17. Now aged 25, she hopes that she has inspired that more women to "make their mark in sports like powerlifting." 💪
Fastest 5m on hind legs by horse
This is Alvin, a Shetland pony from Skåne, Sweden.
When he first met his trainer, Paulina, back in 2009, Alvin was very shy. 😳
However, he soon discovered a passion for learning and performing tricks, which boosted his confidence and helped him to overcome his shyness.
"I always knew he was one of a kind", his trainer Paulina said.
After lots of fun practising at the beach (and plenty of yummy treats), Alvin learned how to walk on his back legs. He broke the record for the fastest 5 m on hind legs by a horse in 16.70 seconds. 🐴
Heaviest single weight lifted by barbell overhead press while riding a unicycle
Jason Auld (UK) required lots of strength and balance to achieve this record, which he broke by lifting 68 kg (149.9 lb) while riding a unicycle. 😲

Jason practised for five days per week to master this trick. 💪
Being featured in Guinness World Records 2023 is something he said he "never imagined possible."
Largest collection of rotating puzzles
Florian Kastenmeier (Germany) has a passion for rotating puzzles – so much so that he’s broken a record with 1,519 in his collection!
It all started with one Rubik’s cube – soon after, Florian became fascinated with the puzzle and others like it.
Florian’s favourite cubes in his collection are the older ones because they have more "story and character."
He doesn’t just collect them though, he also solves them. Florian can solve a rotating puzzle cube in 45 seconds!
When asked about being a part of Guinness World Records 2023, Florian couldn’t believe that people all around the world will see his collection. 😃
Most backward somersault burpees in 30 seconds
Not only is Celeste Dixon (Australia) a fitness fanatic and a Ninja Warrior contestant, she also holds multiple world records. 😎
Gymnastics, climbing, running, swimming and more – Celeste really does it all. What’s more is that she finds time to do it while working three jobs and being a loving dog mum! 🐶
Celeste earned her spot in Guinness World Records 2023 by breaking three records:
- Most backward somersault burpees in 30 seconds (female) – 8
- Most aerial silk front saltos in one minute – 23
- Fastest 10m walking on hands while holding a 10kg medicine ball between the legs (female) – 10.55 seconds
