six-ways-to-save-our-planet-documentary

Meet Aneeshwar Kunchala, the world’s youngest documentary presenter 🤩

This past November, at just 7 years old, he presented the successful SKY Kids documentary ‘COP27 - Six Ways To Save Our Planet’, produced by Fresh Start Media & Sky TV.

What is this environmental documentary about?

Put simply, it is about six children from six different parts of the world, set out to discover and explain practical solutions to the serious problems facing our planet!

You can watch it here 👇

Aneeshwar is from Warrington, UK, and gets in touch with his friends from Australia, Kenya, Singapore, the U.S.A. and Colombia, to find out what is going on in their countries.

Then, these young activists discuss solutions that could help save our planet.

Some ideas sound simple, like planting trees, while others are a bit more complicated, like building eco-friendly floating cities.

It’s exciting to see how scientists are coming up with new ideas in order to help us live more sustainably! 🍃

So, if you want to help out in this battle against climate change, listen carefully to what Aneeshwar has to say. 🙏🏻

Do you feel inspired?

Would you like to help Aneeshwar save the environment AND break a world record in the process?

This one is for you. 😎

The GWR team is creating records just for you, our aspiring record-breakers who are under 16 and don’t want to compete unfairly alongside the grown-ups!

And we have created one exciting challenge that will put your recycling knowledge to test.

The record title is the fastest time to sort two bags of recyclable materials (team of two).

Just in case that wasn’t self-explanatory, what you’ll have to do is sort through the cups, cans, paper and other recyclable materials you have in your home, in the fastest time possible!

Recyclable materials

Here is what you will need:

  • A teammate 👬
  • Recyclable materials: 5 paper cups, 5 plastic bottles, 5 aluminium cans, 5 letters/envelopes & 5 magazines ♻️
  • 2 bags which contain the mix of recyclable materials to sort
  • 3 bins to separate plastic, paper and metal into 🚮

Once you’ve made your attempt, ask your parent or guardian to apply for you here.

Good luck! 🤞
