Did you know that there are some Guinness World Records titles you can attempt as a kid under the age of 16? 🤩

Here at the GWR Headquarters, we are on a mission to inspire ambitious and talented young people to attempt becoming the world’s best

So we created a batch of record categories exclusive to kids your age – no grown-ups allowed! 🙅

The under-16 records are absolutely official, really fun and can be attempted from the comfort of your own home.

That’s why they’re super popular! In fact, we’ve recently created two brand new titles and we cannot wait to see who will be our record holders…

Keep reading if you think you’ve got what it takes. 👀

Fastest time to assemble a Mr. Potato Head

Mr. Potato Head is an all-time classic toy, and it’s probable that you own one or know someone who does.

But just in case you don’t, it is basically a plastic potato 🥔 with a variety of parts that you have to attach to it — typically ears, eyes, shoes, hat, nose, pants and mouth.

Sounds pretty simple, yet the trick is… how fast can you assemble it?! 💪

🔎 All you’ll need is:

- A Mr. Potato Head kit

- A stopwatch ⏱️

A few record-breakers have set impressive times in the past, including British teen Matilda Walden with 5.69 seconds!

However, there is no record breaker in the under-16 category yet…

What are you waiting for? 😎

Tallest zigzag structure built with LEGO® bricks in 30 seconds with one hand

If you’ve come across our under-16 records before, you might have seen the popular title fastest time to stack 20 LEGO® bricks in a right-angle tower.

Well, seeing how much you loved it, we decided to create another LEGO® title, but this time you’ve only got half a minute at your disposal…

Will you be the next LEGO® legend?

🔎 Here is what you’ll need:

- LEGO® bricks (size 2 x 2 or 2 x 4, but all need to be of same size)

- A stopwatch⏱️

- You can also use a LEGO® base plate to build the tower on

For reference, this is what your tower will need to look like:
