Max Alexander is a talented fashion designer from Denver, Colorado, USA, who has shown their work nationally and even run their own fashion show…
Oh, and they are 7 years old! 🤪
At the age of 7 years and 266 days, Max became the youngest person to design a runway show, after they were offered a runway at Denver Fashion Week.
Max has been designing, sewing and selling clothes all around the world since they were 4.
For the runway show, they made their own designs and chose the models, makeup artist and hair stylists…
Like a boss. 😎
Max knew early on what they wanted to do in life.
“When I was 4 I told my parents I was a dress maker and just started sewing and got better and better,” they said.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Since then, Max has had an interview with People magazine, has been on the show Good Morning America and is even making clothes for celebrities! 🤩
So let’s talk about Max’s fabulous show…
Well, it took weeks to prepare for, with a large group of professionals involved.
As Max told us: “It takes a lot of work you know. It’s a lot of people, my mum, models, people, the production manager, a bunch of other managers…”
The young designer was the main person in charge of the project. Every big choice had to go through them, and they made sure to check every little detail closely.
Perfection is in the details. 👌
“First I selected my models, I selected which dresses they’re going to wear, then I put the dresses in order, so which one is going to come out, and it was really fun.”
Max has big dreams for the future: “I think that I can be a full-time fashion designer. I’m not afraid of a little hard work.”
What is your biggest dream?
Remember, no dream is too big – anything is possible if you work hard on it.
Max creates dresses out of unique materials, such as ties and even candy. 🍬
They are also a bit of a celebrity on the internet… way to go, Max!
Do you think Max is excited about the record?
Here is what they said: “Having a Guinness World Records title, it means a lot to me.”
After showcasing their Couture to the Max designs in their first real fashion show runway outing, the future looks incredibly bright for the young designer…
