On the fourth series of CITV’s Scrambled!, the presenters are celebrating the launch of the new Guinness World Records 2017 books by trying break some official world records on the show.
Catch up with the action from Saturday’s episode with this clip of presenter Sam Homewood attempting to break the record for the Fastest time to dry bob six marshmallows in honour of bonfire night in the UK.
Official Guinness World Records judge Anna Orford explained the rules to Sam: He had to be blindfolded with his hands behind his back, and he had to use only his mouth to remove the marshmallows from the string.
Sam was allowed one assistant to help direct him to the marshmallows so he chose fellow presenter Luke Franks.
The enthusiastic duo demonstrated some great teamwork and Sam completed the challenge in an impressive 1 minute 52 seconds.
However, he was not quick enough to win the title from multiple record-breaker Ashrita Furman (USA), who holds the current record with an incredible time of 27.50 seconds!
If you’re in the UK, tune into CITV and keep an eye out for more exciting Guinness World Records challenges on Scrambled! over the next few months.
