American teen sets new records for fastest time to solve a Rubik's cube

Guinness World Records recently confirmed that Lucas Etter, a 14-year-old from Kentucky, USA, has set a new world record for the Fastest time to solve a Rubik's cube, becoming the first person to break the 5 second barrier for unmixing a standard 3x3x3 puzzle.
Fast-fingered Lucas completed the puzzle in an amazing 4.904 seconds during an event at the River Hill High School in Clarksville, Maryland.

Incredibly, the record had already been broken once that day by Keaton Ellis, a fellow speed cuber from Maryland, who managed to solve the cube in 5.09 seconds.
Lucas’ achievement comes just two months after he set a new record for the Fastest average time to solve a 2x2x2 Rubik's cube, after recording a time of 1.51 seconds at Woodmont Hills Church in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, back in September.
