The world's favourite performing pooch Purin (Japan) has smashed the Guinness World Records title for the Fastest 10 m travelled on a ball by a dog in just 11.9 seconds – making the talented dog a double world record holder on National Puppy Day.
The fluffy goalkeeper also holds the record for the Most balls caught by a dog with the paws in one minute after she skilfully “saved” 14 mini footballs.
Purin's owener Makoto Kumagai (Japan) carefully throws the balls to her one at a time, while the clever dog stands on her back legs and holds out her paws ready to catch them.
Purin is an extremely talented 9-year-old female Beagle who is described as cool, competitive, easy-going and positive by her proud owner.
Makoto told Guinness World Records that he practices these tricks with Purin for 15 minutes every day.
A Guinness World Records adjudicator watched Purin's impressive record attempts and presented her with an official certificate.
