On the fourth series of CITV’s Scrambled!, the presenters are celebrating the launch of the new Guinness World Records 2017 books by trying break some official world records on the show.

The first episode was aired on Saturday and saw London Hughes attempt the title Fastest time to unravel a toilet roll (one hand) under the watchful gaze Guinness World Records adjudicator Anna Orford.

London was on a roll – but unfortunately she wasn’t quite fast enough to achieve the record.

Try this at home: Think you can do better? – The current record is held by Dalibor Jablanovic from Serbia who unravelled a toilet roll with one hand (which includes the tough challenge of breaking the seal at the beginning) in a rapid 9.80 seconds. The rules state that you must start with the toilet roll placed flat on your palm.

However, London does already hold a Guinness World Records title with fellow presenter Laura Jackson. The pair achieved the Most bangles put on in 30 seconds by a team of two on the set of Scrambled! in 2014.

If you’re in the UK, tune into CITV and keep an eye out for more exciting world record challenges on Scrambled! over the next few months.
