An incredible Parson Russell Terrier called Smurf has jumped, rolled and barked his way into the brand new Guinness World Records 2017 book, after setting a record for the Most tricks performed by a dog in one minute.
During his official record attempt, the performing pup completed an impressive 32 tricks in just 60 seconds.
His talents include rolling over, speaking (barking), walking on hind legs, reversing through a human’s legs, crawling backwards and ever making a cup of tea by pretending to pee in a cup!
The six year old pooch lives with his owner and best friend Sarah Humphreys in Hertfordshire in the UK.
Guinness World Records recently visited Smurf and Sarah at their home to take photos for the book – and Smurf proved to be a natural in front of the camera.
Talking about her beloved pet, Sarah said: “What makes Smurf so amazingly talented and unique is his diversity and his ability to learn new tricks in a short time frame.”
Amazingly, Smurf has already appeared on a number of TV shows including Channel 4's Superstar Dogs and he has appeared at the London Pet Show many times.
Didga and her owner Robert Dollwet (USA/Australia) have also earned a place in Guinness World Records 2017 with the title Most tricks performed by a cat in one minute.
Proving dogs are not the only pets that can be trained, Didga completed an amazing 24 tricks while in Tweed Heads, New South Wales, Australia.
The kitty's talents range from rolling over to jumping over a bar whilst on a skateboard.
The Guinness World Records 2017 Edition book and the Guinness World Records 2017 Gamer's Edition are available in stores now.
