Hello, curious kiddos! I'm Vassiliki Bakogianni, but my friends call me Vassi. I'm here on a mission to share the amazing stories of world records with you! Together, we discover the extraordinary, from incredible human feats to nature's wonders and animal achievements. Let's get to know our amazing planet, and one record story at a time!

What I write about: Guinness World Records is all about incredible stuff that people have done all over the world. It's about celebrating the unique talent or feature that makes us special... and we've all got something! In fact, if you haven't discovered special talent yet, one of these stories might help you find it. From building the tallest LEGO tower to being the world's fastest drummer, and even doing some seriously weird things, these stories are super fun and inspiring!

Fun facts about me:

1) I'm a citizen of the world: I live in England, but in the past I've also lived in Greece, Italy AND Spain! That's why I speak Greek, Spanish, and Italian – grazie!

2) Favourite foods:  a real foodie, I love pasta, burgers, and discovering new cuisines everywhere I travel! But my one true love is gelato. 🍦

3) Bookworm alert: If we become friends, get ready to hear me chatter endlessly about all my favourite books! And the  series that started my obsession? Harry Potter, of course!
