Meet Ghost, a new member of the Guinness World Records family!
Oh, and she's a cow. 🐄
This four-year-old Charolais cow owned by Megan Reimann from Nebraska, USA, just set an impressive record for the most tricks performed by a cow in one minute, with a total of 10 tricks.

So, what were the tricks that Ghost performed? Here is a list:
- Stay in place
- Come when called
- Self-roping
- Spin
- Bow
- Stand on a pedestal
- Fist bump/leg lift
- Bell touch
- Kiss
- Head nod
And how cute was the kiss?! 😍
Megan told us that Ghost can actually perform even more tricks, including distinguishing between different colours!
Megan said: “I knew Ghost was special from the moment I first saw her, and I decided then that she was going to do something special.”
It all started when Megan, who teaches a trick-training course for horses, thought it would be a good idea to apply the same methods to her beloved cow.
Fast forward a little while later, Ghost learnt her first ever trick - spinning! 🤪
Seeing that Ghost had a real talent, Megan kept training her and building up her bank of tricks.
Then one day, she saw a story on our website about Joy the pig, another one of our record breakers who performed 13 tricks in one minute.
That's when she realized that Ghost could set a Guinness World Records title with her skills!
As she explains, “I went looking to see what records there were for cattle. I was surprised to see that there weren’t any […] so we set out to see if we could do it.”
When they started training to attempt the record, Megan had to decide which tricks were “quick enough to fit into one minute.”
Once they had a clear plan, all that was left to do was practise...
Megan even joked that, whilst they were training, “the other cows would gather around and ‘help’.”
On the day of the attempt, Ghost was quite nervous due to the presence of an audience, such as the timekeeper and some independent witnesses.
However, Megan was very proud of how Ghost didn’t let that stop her from trying her best and, soon enough, the record title was hers! 🥳
After the successful attempt, Megan rewarded Ghost by offering her hay, scratches and treats... all very well deserved. 🤗
Weirdly enough, Ghost “politely said no” and left to walk towards the pasture.
But what can you do? As Megan pointed out, “A star is allowed her opinions, so we let her go.” 😂
We're not sure if Ghost is all that excited about becoming a Guinness World Records title holder... but Megan definitely is.
She can now proudly say that, both her and Ghost, are Officially A-moo-zing!
