2024 is almost over, and what a year it's been!
We’ve seen some incredible records being broken – and many of them were achieved by kids around your age. 🤯
So before we say goodbye to 2024 and hello to 2025, let’s take a look back at the last year of record breaking by kids and teens…
This teenage freestyle-football star broke HER IDOL'S record
Can you imagine becoming SO good at your favourite sport that you break a record set by your personal HERO?!
Well, Isabel Wilkins, a teen from the UK, did it. 🥹
In 2023, she was crowned the youngest freestyle-football world champion aged just 15, so this year she decided to break some more records with her jaw-dropping freestyle football skills:
- Most Abbas around-the-world tricks in 30 seconds: 18
- Most half-beck around-the-world tricks in one minute: 12
- Most hop-the-world tricks in 30 seconds: 47
- Most clipper tricks in one minute: 46
Most sweaters worn at once
Sophia Hayden from Washington, USA, holds the record for the most sweaters worn at once with a sweat-inducing total of... 45. 🤯
Her brilliant tactic was to use sweaters of increasing size, putting them on 1 by 1 from the smallest to the largest one...
Brilliant, right? 🤓
If you liked Sophia’s record, here is a similar one that you could break if you’re under 16: fastest time to put on 5 t-shirts!
He is a human calculator
13-year-old Aaryan Shukla is a human calculator. 🧠
Don’t believe us? He holds the record for the fastest time to mentally add 50 5-digit numbers – 25.19 seconds.
That’s about 1 addition every HALF a second! 🤯
Can you think of some 5-digit numbers? Here are a few:
- 37,425
- 12,349
- 75,123
How long would it take you to add these 3 numbers? Give it a go, and try not to get a headache! 😂
Teenager with the longest hair
Super long hair is NOT just for girls! 🤩
A 17-year-old boy has been confirmed to have the world’s longest hair on a male teenager, measuring 161 cm (5 ft 3.3 in) - that's about the same height as an average grown-up woman!
Reuben Looks Twice Jr., a Native American from Rapid City, South Dakota, hasn’t had his hair cut since he was 2 years old…
Who can wait that long?!
These skating twins break records together
Meet Naemi and Alena Stump, the twin sisters from Switzerland who share a common passion: synchronized inline skating! 🛼
This year, skating became way more than just a hobby for them, since they set 2 WORLD RECORDS together on a 3.9-metre (12-ft 9-in) vert ramp:
- Most synchronized tricks on inline skates in 30 seconds: 11
- Most synchronized tricks on inline skates in 1 minute: 21
Youngest yoga teacher
At just 5 years and 337 days old, Pratyaksh Vijay already has his dream job. 🤓
After completing 200 hours of Yoga Teacher's Training Course, the young boy from India was verified as the world’s youngest yoga instructor (male).
200 hours sounds like A LOT, but Pratyaksh told us that he loved every second of it.
Cillian the magician
Do you like magic? 🪄
Cillian O’Connor, a 15-year-old magician from Ireland, holds the record for the most magic tricks performed in one minute (under 16) – 28!
And if you think you know him from somewhere, you might recognise him from when he competed in the 16th edition of Britain’s Got Talent, where he was placed 3rd overall during the final!
Teenager with the largest hands and feet
And now meet Eric Kilburn Jr., the 16-year-old from Goodrich, Michigan, USA, who has the world’s largest feet AND hands on a living teenager!
His feet measure an impressive 34.30 cm (13.50 inches). His shoes are an American size 23 (the equivalent of a size 22 for the UK).
For reference, this is over DOUBLE the average shoe size for a grown-up man, which typically ranges from 8.5 to 9. 👀
Eric’s hands are just as extraordinary: they measure an amazing 23.20 cm (9.13 inches)!
Aneeshwar the nature hero
Aneeshwar Kunchala, a young nature hero from the UK, has been on a mission to protect the planet since he was very little! 🌍
He’s only 8 years old but already shows how much he cares by doing amazing things, like hosting a nature documentary and writing to inspire others to help the Earth.
He became the world’s youngest documentary presenter (male) at the age of 7 years 288 days and, later on, the youngest newspaper columnist (male) at the age of 8 years 76 days.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Youngest fashion designer
If you’re into fashion, you’ll love this record! 👠
Max Alexander is a talented fashion designer from Denver, Colorado, USA, who has shown their work nationally and even run their own fashion show…
All that at just 7 years old! 🤪
More specifically, at the age of 7 years and 266 days, Max became the youngest person to design a runway show, after they were offered a runway at Denver Fashion Week.
Max has been designing, sewing and selling clothes all around the world since they were 4.

And who knows, you might make next year’s list of incredible record-breaking kids!
