Longest POLAR ultramarathon
Donna Urquhart from Melbourne, Australia, travelled all the way to Antarctica and ran a total of 1,402.21 km (871.29 mi) across 28 running days in the snow!
If you’re wondering how long that is, think of the distance between Paris, France and Rome, Italy. 😱

That’s how she achieved the longest polar ultramarathon on foot EVER achieved by a woman.
According to Donna, the secret to achieving your dreams is confidence:

Largest snow maze
Can you imagine exploring a giant maze made out of snow?!
Sounds like the experience of a lifetime. 🤩
The world’s largest snow maze is in St. Adolphe, Manitoba, Canada, and it is 2,789.11 square metres (30,021 ft² 110 in²) – that’s about as big as 7 basketball courts.
Now that’s one fun way to spend a snowy day!
Largest dome igloo
Have you ever seen an igloo, also known as snow house or snow hut?
The Iglu-Dorf building crew (Switzerland), along with Volvo, created the largest dome igloo made with snow with a diameter of 12.9 meters (42 feet 4 inches) and a height of 10.5 meters (34 feet 6 inches).
That’s two times as tall as a giraffe! 🦒🦒

Largest collection of snow globes
Snow globes are so pretty. 😍
It took Wendy Suen from China 16 years to achieve the largest collection of snow globes with 4,059 when last officially counted in 2016.
She's been collecting probably for longer than you've been alive!!

The world’s tallest snowman is actually a snow woman! ☃️
Residents of Bethel, Maine, USA, and surrounding towns, built a snow woman measuring 37.21 meters (122 feet 1 inches) tall, over a period of one month in 2008.
Her name was Olympia, and she was only a few feet shorter than the Statue of Liberty! 🗽
