Arnav Daga from India really loves stacking cards to make tall houses and towers.

🔎 Card stacking is when you carefully balance playing cards on top of each other to build cool towers or buildings WITHOUT using glue or tape. It takes great concentration and precise movements!

Arnav is an amazing card stacker, and he gave himself a big challenge: break 4 world records in just 1 day!

So on 19 October 2024, he grabbed hundreds of cards and got to work with this big goal in mind…

By the end of the day, he had earned the records for the tallest house of cards built in 1 hour, 8 hours, 12 hours and 24 hours. 💪

That's some seriously steady stacking!

“Card stacking has always been my passion and I really wanted to test my limits,” he told us.

He started off with the 1-hour attempt, where he managed to stack 30 levels!

He said: “Card stacking is a challenging art which requires a lot of time and patience.”

It’s also a very popular and competitive sport. 😎

After that, Arnav began a new tower, which he would use for the other 3 records.

He admitted: “I was already exhausted by the first attempt, so I started off really slow and wasn’t sure if I’d be able to accomplish the target which I had set.

“I put on my headphones and started to play some music which really motivated me.

“I had this motivation in my mind that I needed to keep stacking and that’s exactly what I did.”

So how did he do?

Well, Arnav built his tower up to 61 LEVELS to claim the 3 records in one go! 🃏

He’s been card stacking as a hobby since he was 8 years old.

It was during the Covid-19 lockdown that he made it his dream to one day achieve a world record, and his practice paid off.

He told us: “From seeing records being created to finally becoming a record holder has been a really satisfying journey and I wish to single-handedly own all the Guinness World Records titles in the field of card stacking.”
