The most ICONIC game of Red Light/ Green Light turned into a world record!
Since the TV series Squid Game came out a few years ago, the iconic game of red light/ green light has turned viral!
But let's be real – kids have been playing it for years and know just how much fun it is. 😎
So, if you ever get into arguments of “I saw you move!” or “no I didn’t!” with your friends… this record is for you.
A whopping 1,423 people gathered at a park in Anaheim, California, USA to participate in the largest game of red light/ green light!
Can you imagine playing with this many people?! 🤯
The place was packed with awesome kids from the Anaheim Elementary School District and local families, all excited to be part of a record-breaking, super fun day they’ll never forget!
James Howell, the CEO and Founder of CF Fitness who organized the event, said:
“We are all born dreamers – it's up to us to turn those dreams into reality.”
That’s true – it’s up to YOU to make all your dreams come true, with hard work, patience and determination! 🌈

The event took place on a sunny afternoon on 21 May, at Yorba Park in California.
Buses brought in lots of excited students who were happy to run around the big grassy field while the organizers got everything ready for them. How fun!
Since the kids came from different schools, it was a good opportunity to make new friends, especially while playing with CF Fitness’s fun mascot, Lil Muscle! 🤪
Lots of people came out to support the event too, including local firefighters, police officers, city officials, parents, and other kids from the neighbourhood.

More than 1,400 kids and grown-ups wearing colourful shirts lined up in front of a row of trees, getting ready to play!
Everyone faced the event officials and waited for the signal.
So you know how the game works – when someone shouted “GREEN LIGHT,” the players raced forward, but as soon as they heard “RED LIGHT,” they had to freeze!
If anyone moved, they were out. 😬
The goal? Be the first to reach the referees without getting caught – if you succeed, then you’ll be crowned the champion of red light/ green light! 🏆
The event organizers said:
“We wanted to encourage students to dream big and put their effort into turning those dreams into reality, showing that with dedication, anything is possible.”
We couldn’t agree more! 💪
