Hi there, I’m Aneeshwar and I’m on a mission to save the Earth from global warming. I take every opportunity I can to talk about the importance of our wildlife, whether that be on TV, social media or in a newspaper. In doing so, I’ve gained 3 world records and made many of my dreams come true. 🌎

🔎 What is global warming?
Since the 19th century (1801-1900), the Earth’s temperature has increased by 1.1 °C. That might not sound like a lot, but it has impacted our planet significantly. Glaciers have melted, causing the population of polar bears to shrink, and sea levels have risen, resulting in floods that have destroyed both human homes and animal habitats. 🔥 So, why has this happened? It’s because humans have been burning more fossil fuels (e.g., coal, oil and gas) by heating their homes, driving their cars and using large amounts of electricity. ⛽ If the Earth’s temperature continues to rise, both humans and animals will be required to adapt their ways of living to these conditions. 😟

How it all started…

In my first year at school, my teacher showed me a picture of a whale that had died from plastic pollution. 🐋

Plastic pollution refers to the build-up of discarded plastics in our environment, harmful to both humans and animals.

In that moment, I knew I needed to encourage others to protect our planet and its inhabitants. 💗

So, in 2020, I began filming videos with my dad about the amazing animals we exist alongside.

Our first video was about a baby robin in our garden called Regee.

He was so cute!  😍

I kept working hard on my videos and just 2 years later, I was given the opportunity to present a documentary called COP27: Six Ways to Save Our Planet.

Dedication always leads to success! 👏

Aged 7 years 288 days old, I became the world’s youngest documentary presenter (male).

Making my dreams come true

In 2023, I was fortunate enough to make many of my dreams come true!

Fun fact - you’ve got the power to do this too! 🫵

The year got off to a great start when I received a supportive letter from Sir David Attenborough, a world-famous environmentalist!

I then travelled to the Arctic, where I had close encounters with walruses and humpback whales! 🐋

In April 2023, I started writing about endangered animals for a kids' newspaper called First News.

By doing this, I became the youngest newspaper columnist (male), aged 8 years 76 days old. 📰

My features are always full of fun facts and my very own drawings and paintings.

Nature is so beautiful, I love capturing it in my artwork. 😍

And to top it all off, I made a TV programme with my hero, Steve Backshall!

Having multiple Guinness World Records titles is an amazing feeling! I think I've started something important for future generations, and these achievements will help me to inspire many children to do something for the natural world.

Becoming a comic-book hero

I appeared in Guinness World Records 2026 as the hero of my very own comic-book strip. 🦸

This illustration was designed by Steve May.

I feel so happy when I'm out in nature observing the wildlife. Nature inspires and amazes me with its unique, special superpowers.

Attempting more records

In January 2025, I achieved my 3rd world record! 🎊

There are so many records to choose from that are just for us kids under the age of 16!

But I decided to go for the most animals identified from their sounds in 1 minute (Under 16s). 🦆

I recognized 28 different sounds - it was so much fun!

Good luck!
