Hi there, I’m Anvi and I am the world’s youngest girl to publish a bilingual book as well as the youngest TEDx female speaker! I believe that, for us kids, creativity is our superpower.
It all started with...
The COVID pandemic!
That’s when my mum gave me finger paints and I made a huge mess on my feeding chair. But also a beautiful mess!
Every time I felt happy, angry or bored, I’d just paint it out. My mum would say, “This is your superpower,” and I’d reply, “Told ya.”
Because my emotions were big – bigger than me! – sometimes I felt like a volcano.
But then I learned emotions are okay and we just need to talk about them, instead of… throwing toys out of the drawers!
I made the book so other kids don’t feel like aliens around their feelings. Instead, they can validate and express them in a calm way.
And I am very proud of it!
About my book...
I wrote my book, Little Girl’s Big Emotions, in both English and Spanish, and within the first week of publication we sold over 1,160 copies!
I even got to host my own book signing events in several popular Indian bookstores – that was a very cool experience.
And that’s how I broke my first world record, becoming the youngest person to publish a bilingual book when I was just 4 years and 254 days old.

My TEDx talk
Then, at the age of 5 years and 96 days, I broke my second world record: youngest TEDx speaker (female)!
A TEDx speaker is someone who has delivered a short speech at an event organised by TED, a non-profit company that shares free presentations online.
So I gave the talk in Faridabad, Haryana, India, titled “Creativity is a child’s superpower”.
I was sitting and thinking, “What do I have that nobody can take away?” And BOOM! My brain said “creativity”.
I had never spoken on a large stage before my TEDx talk!
I don’t know how many people were in the audience, but it was A LOT. Maybe 100?
Enough to make me go ‘Woah!’ when I walked in…
A day at the GWR office
Visiting the Guinness World Records office was one of the most exciting experiences of my life!
I loved seeing the record treasure locker, where so many amazing records are celebrated – I felt very special and inspired to achieve many more records.
I also posed with cardboard cutouts of some of the most famous record holders…
For example, I compared my height to that of the world’s shortest woman, Jyoti Amge, who is 62.8 cm (24.7 in) tall.
That’s equivalent to 2 standard rulers!
How much taller than Jyoti are you?
[Breaking two records] feels like eating two ice creams at once – amazing and sweet! I’m super happy and now I want more world records.
