Special skill: Hoverboarding
Hi there! I’m Bianca and I'm a figure skater and hoverboard pro. I broke a world record by achieving 45 seated pirouettes in just 30 seconds on my hoverboard! My love for hoverboarding even landed me on stage in Milan, Italy, where I performed on TV in Lo Show dei Record. 😎

How it all started…
When I was about 5 years old, I watched the figure skating Olympics with my granny and fell in love with the sport!
I was convinced I wanted to be there myself one day, and I asked my mum to take me figure skating.
I started at 7 and was really good – until unfortunately, at the age of 10, I had a training accident where I hurt my knee… badly! 😬
I had to take a 1.5-year break from figure skating. I was devastated! 😢
But still, I didn’t give up on my passion for spinning – I got a hoverboard and soon realized that I could do much more than moving with it.
I could spin, I could get creative! Plus, my knee wasn’t hurting this way.
And that’s how a new adventure began!
Hoverboarding taught me that even when one door closes, there's always another way to pursue your passion.

Becoming a comic-book hero
I appeared in Guinness World Records 2026 as the hero of my very own comic-book strip!

How to hoverboard like a pro
Here is how you can become a pro hoverboarder like me in 3 steps:
- Find your balance. Once you get on to the hoverboard, spend a few minutes trying to really find your balance until you feel confident to try some moves.
- Lean to go forwards or backwards. Lean ahead, slightly and slowly, if you want to zoom ahead, then lean back if you want to slow down or stop. Make sure you have someone to help you by holding your hands or just being there to catch you in case you lose balance. Staying close to a wall is also helpful – remember, safety first!
- Lean feet in opposite directions to spin. Are you ready to start spinning? Try doing it really slowly at first, and then gradually increase your speed!
Sounds pretty easy, right?
Well, try breaking a world record with it. 😎
You have to be resilient and adaptable. Life doesn’t always go the way you plan, but if you stay positive and open to new experiences, you can find joy in unexpected places! It’s important to keep moving forward, even when things get tough.

What it's like being a record holder
Breaking a world record at 13 was UNBELIEVABLE!
It was a dream come true, and I was so happy and proud of what I had achieved. To celebrate, my family and I had a small party with my favourite cake.
It was a day I’ll never forget. ❤️
And I hope I’ll continue with both hoverboarding and figure skating, as I love them both so much!
I’d also like to inspire others who have faced setbacks to find new ways to pursue their passions.
So, what is YOUR passion?
