Video: Competitive eater attempts advent calendar challenge

Competitive eater L.A. Beast - real name Kevin Strahle - has really been getting into the festive spirit this December.

While others who celebrate Christmas are eating one chocolate from an advent calendar a day to countdown until the 25th, L.A. Beast prefers to gobble the whole lot in record time.

The Beast successfully achieved the Fastest time to eat all chocolates from an advent calendar in an impressive 1 min 27 secs.

He was thrilled that his hard work, determination and practice paid off!

Previously, the strong-stomached YouTube star has set speed-eating records for titles involving chicken nuggets, powdered doughnuts, and fiery Bhut Jolokia peppers.
