Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2021: BTS, Ariana Grande, Charli D'Amilio and SLIME!

Who else loves watching the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards to see the sliming?

Well, the 2021 awards was no different, and saw loads of celebs and influencers getting covered in the green gunk.

But it wasn't just celebs getting involved - a bunch of people got slimed from their own home for a gunge-tastic record attempt!

The record for the most people gunged/slimed simultaneously online was attempted by families from home, who has to slime themselves!

They managed to break the record with 195 participants.

Actor, Saturday Night Live legend and comedian, Kenan Thompson (Star of Kenan & Kel) was the host for the Kids’ Choice Awards 2021.

Immediately after the record attempt, Kenan joined the excitement as he also got a generous pouring of the gooey, green substance.

Current record holders were also featured throughout the ceremony as presenters, winners and performers, sometimes receiving a helping of slime.

All the record holders that attended/won awards at the Kids’ Choice Awards:

Justin Bieber - Favorite male artist and Favorite music collaboration with fellow serial record-breaker, Ariana Grande. The global superstar also performed his hit singles "Anyone" and "Hold On".
Ariana Grande - the "Safety net" singer won Favorite music collaboration with Biebs and Favorite female artist.
BTS - They won Favorite music group and Best song with "Dynamite".

Millie Bobby Brown - won in the Favorite TV and Movie actress categories for her role in Stranger Things and Enola Holmes. She holds the world record for the youngest UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
Simone Biles - the amazing gymnast who is a multiple record holder won Favorite sports star female.
Marsai Martin - the youngest Hollywood executive producer was in the slime studio to present an award category. Joining Marsai, Jojo Siwa, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Anthony Anderson, and many others made appearances during the action-packed awards show.

Charli D’Amelio - the current title holder for most followers on TikTok (female)and the first to be slimed during show, won the award for Favorite female social star.
Lebron James - the basketball legend won Favorite sports star male.
