BLACKPINK member Rosé has set two new Guinness World Records titles with her solo single "On The Ground".

The Korean-New Zealand singer reached number one on both the Global Billboard 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US on March 27.

She has also topped the charts as a member of BLACKPINK with "Lovesick Girls" with bandmates Jisoo, Jennie and Lisa.

This makes her the first artist to reach number one on a Billboard Global chart as a soloist and as part of a group.

Rosé released her debut album R on March 12 with two lead singles.

The music video for "On The Ground" premiered via YouTube on the same day and subsequently became the most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a solo K-pop artist with 41.6 million views.

It shattered the previous record held by PSY at 36 million views for the worldwide hit, "Gangnam Style".

BLACKPINK have broken multiple records, mainly for one of their biggest hits "How You Like That".

Rosé, real name Roseanne Park, was the last member to join the band.

The group have won multiple awards, including a People’s Choice Award, a Teen Choice Award and an MTV Video Music Award.

They have also held previous Guinness World Records titles including the most viewed YouTube video in 24 hours and the most viewed music video in 24 hours, however these records are now held by fellow K-pop band BTS for their hit single "Dynamite".

Congratulations to Rosé on her incredible achievement - who knows, she may go on to break even more records as a solo artist!
