Is your Spidey-sense tingling in excitement for the new Spider-Man film? 🕷️

If you’re finding it hard to wait, you’re not alone!

A lot of people were excited to watch the new trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home and get a sneak peek at the movie. So many, in fact, that it broke a world record!

It became the most viewed movie trailer in 24 hours, racking up a huge 355.5 million views. It beat the trailer for Avengers: Endgame, which was watched 289 million times on its first day.

Now that Spider-Man’s true identity has been revealed, how will the world react?

Quite badly, it seems. 😲

As the police and the public start to turn against Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland), he visits his old friend Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) for help.

Doctor Strange casts a spell, but Peter can’t keep his mouth shut and keeps interrupting Doctor Strange. The end result – chaos! 😵

Space and time bend out of control, along with buildings, cars and everything else on Earth. Doctor Strange suggests the multiverse may be open, which means that travelling to different universes might be possible.

It also means you might see past versions of Spidey appear in the movie!

Doctor Octopus, the mad scientist from Spider-Man 2, returns and he’s trying to get his tentacles on Spider-Man again. 🐙

Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is also back, hoping to cause a shock.

Past villains such as the Green Goblin, Sandman and the Lizard could also make an appearance! 😱

Tom Holland reacted to the news of the record-breaking trailer on Instagram Stories, addressing his 46.5 million followers, “This is incredible. I honestly can't believe it. This movie so crazy and I can't wait to share it with you."

"The love and support you guys show for the film is so exciting. Honestly, that's just the tip of the iceberg. You have no idea what is to come. I'm so excited to share more with you guys, and it feels so good to be back with Spider-Man and showing you trailers, to be having films coming out. This is so exciting."

Spider-Man: No Way Home opens in movie theatres on December 17, 2021. 🍿
