How cute are guinea pigs?!🐹
Little Abby from USA is now officially a record-breaking little lady, after earning the record title for highest bar jump by a guinea pig with an unbelievable 22 cm height.
Grace Hoiness, Abby's owner, is super excited and proud of her furry friend.
The 18-year-old college student from Oregon, noticed early on that Abby loved leaping and decided to challenge her with bigger and bigger jumps, to help her become the best!
“I realized that Abby was so great at jumping when she learned how to jump over the obstacle in a day," Grace commented. “She was a very fast learner, and in about a week, she was jumping over it without me even telling her to do so!"
When we asked Grace how she feels about her and her pet's achievement, she said: “It feels awesome to have the record, and I think that Abby is excited as well.”
Abby is now 3 years old. 😍
Grace has one more guinea pig, Cookiepig, who she just adopted a couple of months ago, and she has rehomed or rescued others in the past too!
Grace loves her pets so much and they feel the same about her! As she said: “They squeak every time I walk into the room and love to snuggle with me”.
So, what is Abby like?
As Grace pointed out: “I think she is the only guinea pig in the world who will not eat everything that she sees!”
We can't wait to see if Abby will attempt breaking any other acrobatic records in the future...
Or if maybe Cookiepig, who is now also learning to jump, will end up taking the record from Abby one day! 😂
