Here at Guinness World Records, we are on a mission to inspire ambitious and talented youngsters under the age of 16 to break world records!

This is why we have created a batch of record categories exclusive to under-16s, so you don't have to compete unfairly against the grown-ups.

These records are as fun as they are official, and you can attempt them from the comfort of your home.

You’re welcome! 😉

Below are a few of the most popular record titles so far. 👇

Fastest time to pack a school bag

The school bell has rung and it’s time to leave, but first… how fast can you pack your bag? 🎒

Put your speed to the test and see if you can beat Ashwin’s impressive time of just 16.23 seconds!

Read here for more information and, if you think you’re up for the challenge, ask your parent or guardian to apply for you.

Fastest time to stack 20 LEGO® bricks in a right-angle tower

In order to break this record, you will need to be fast, precise and 100% focused.

Have you got what it takes? 😎

Well, Ryoma Arakawa from Japan absolutely did, as he managed to achieve the amazing time of 13.33 seconds, obtaining a well-deserved record title!

Most soft toys caught blindfolded

This is unquestionably one of our most fun records and, if you have lots of soft toys laying around the house, then it is definitely one for you.

Grab your sibling, neighbour or friend, and see just how good your catching skills are… when you can't see! 😲

Read the guidelines and apply here.

Fastest time to put on five T-shirts

To attempt this record, you will only need five T-shirts and a stopwatch.

💡 Pro tip: use wide fit clothes, and make sure you place them around you neatly… and strategically!

That’s what Ryoma, our current title holder did, achieving an impressive time of 12.63 seconds.

Fastest time to type the alphabet

Another speed-related record, although this one is perhaps the hardest one to beat.

Especially since talented Chemuduru Praneeth Kumar from India attained the jaw-dropping record of 3.30 seconds! 🤯

This record is one for the books and, if you practise with enough focus and dedication, you could be its next title holder.

Or, if you’re not really good with typing, you can always attempt being the fastest to arrange the alphabet instead!
