There is a 14-year-old in Cumberland, Maine, USA, who holds two Guinness World Records record titles… and is planning to achieve 3 more!

So, of course, we had to meet him. 😎

Cooper Wright is officially a LEGO pro, with two impressive titles under his belt:

Cooper is not only very good at building with Legos, but he is also truly passionate about it.

“I love the collecting aspect of them,” he explained. “I started liking Legos when I was just about 2 or 3 years old.”

Fast forward a few years later, Cooper came across a video of Sebastian Haworth, the kid who broke the record for the fastest time to build the LEGO® Titanic, and his immediate thought was: “I can do that too!”.

That’s when he decided to attempt the LEGO® World Map record.

Throughout the attempt, except for one small setback, when a table leg folded and part of the build slid to the floor, Cooper worked at a steady pace, always being confident in his abilities.

He remained focused for over 9 hours straight! 🤯

Soon after breaking his first record Cooper decided to break another one, because of how accomplished he felt the first time around.

“The hardest part was setting everything up and coordinating it”, Cooper explained.

In fact, the LEGO® Eiffel Tower consists of a jaw-dropping 10,001 pieces!

At the end of 9 hours, 14 minutes and 35 seconds, Cooper was happy with the result and excited for his record attempt to be approved.

“I love having 2 records,” he told us happily. “My friends were very supportive. Every now and then, someone will say ‘I know a guy who has a world record’ when referring to me, so that makes me feel good.”

Enjoy your well-deserved glory, Cooper. 😉

The teenage LEGO pro has many other interests, like history and geography, which are his favourite school subjects: “But my favourite hobby is, of course, Legos!”.

So what is Cooper’s secret to success?

“Just try your hardest and don't give up.” 💪

Indeed, Cooper is not giving up on record breaking just yet; his goal is to break 5 records in total!

“I’m now applying for the Fastest time to build the LEGO® Colosseum record.”

Good luck, Cooper, and welcome to the Guinness World Records family!
