World’s shortest woman Jyoti celebrated her birthday and broke ANOTHER record!

We recently celebrated Jyoti’s birthday. 🤩

Jyoti Amge from India, the world’s shortest woman, just turned 31 – and she also bagged a new world record!

So how did we celebrate?

Well, when she came to London to meet fellow record breaker Rumeysa Gelgi, the world’s tallest woman, we surprised her with a birthday cake… which looked HUGE next to her even though it was shaped like a caterpillar. 😂

Jyoti gasped as she opened her eyes and saw the unexpected cake in front of her.

Do you like surprises? Have you even been surprised like Jyoti?

Jyoti is 62.8 cm (2 ft 0.7 in) tall, so you’re probably taller than her even though she’s a grown-up!

Blowing out her candles, she made a wish before cutting herself a slice with a kitchen knife that looked scarily big in her teeny tiny hands.

And speaking of her tiny hands…

We measured them and they were just verified as the world’s smallest hands on a person (female)! 🤯

Her left hand measures 2.79 in (7.1 cm) and her right hand measures 2.83 in (7.2 cm).

That’s shorter than the height of a salt shaker! 🧂

That’s why everyday things like a phone or a mug look MASSIVE in Jyoti’s hands.

It’s so adorable! 😭

Even so, her hands are actually bigger than the hands of Afshin Ghaderzadeh, the world’s shortest man, who is taller than Jyoti at 2 ft 1.69 in (65.24 cm).

Jyoti’s hands are way smaller than Rumeysa’s though…

You can clearly tell by this cute picture we took of them together in London!

In fact, Rumeysa’s hands are also record breaking as she has the longest finger on a living person (female) with one measuring 4.4 in (11.2 cm).

That means her fingers are longer than Jyoti's entire hand! 🤯

Jyoti has been a record holder since 2009, so she’s been a part of the Guinness World Records family for well over a decade.

Congratulations on yet another record, Jyoti. 🥳
