Meng Meng, Shuai Shuai and Ku Ku, the world’s oldest giant panda triplets, are now 10 years old! 🐼
Their birthday was a few weeks ago, and they celebrated it in the best way possible...
With a delicious cake made from all their favourite foods: bamboo shoots, carrots, fruit chunks and honey water! 🥕🍎🍯
The 3 inseparable siblings spent their birthday at home in Chimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou, China, where they were presented with the cake as visitors sang a birthday song to them.

The adorable triplets were born in 2014, all within just 4 hours of each other.
Their mum Ju Xiao gave birth to Meng Meng, the only girl of the litter, first - then along came her 'little' brothers!
The China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda has confirmed that Meng Meng, Shuai Shuai and Ku Ku are currently the only giant panda triplets in the world! 🤯
Did you know that pandas were an endangered species, meaning in danger of becoming extinct?
Thankfully, in recent years, their numbers have started to increase again, so much so that the International Union for Conservation of Nature has reclassified them as “vulnerable” instead of “endangered”...
It's a long way to go to make sure that this beautiful species is safe, but we're confident that we'll get there! ❤️
In fact, Meng Meng recently gave birth to a female panda cub of her own.
To this day, Chimelong Safari Park has had 11 baby pandas born from 8 pregnancies. That's why people call it the "Panda Blessed Land"! 🤗
So how long do pandas live on average? 🤔
The average lifespan of a panda in the wild is 15-20 years, increasing to 30 years when they live in a protected environment like the zoo, where they're being taken care of by experts!
But the oldest panda ever was a girl named Jia Jia, who lived until the age of 38. 🤩
