Brittany Lacayo from Texas, USA, has the world's widest tongue on a woman, which measures 7.90 cm (3.11 in) at its widest point – that’s wider than a Post-it note or a cupcake! 🧁
Brittany, who is a lawyer, has always known that she has a super large licker – in fact, her family would often joke about it when she was little.

But how did she discover she had broken the world record?!
Until recently, she never considered the possibility that hers could be the widest tongue in the entire world...
But when her best friend sent her a video of the previous record holder, she was inspired to measure her own tongue. 📏
And the rest... is history!
When people see Brittany's tongue for the first time, they are often shocked and curious.
She hasn’t ever shown it to her coworkers, nor has she told them about her record, but she’ll no longer be able to... bite her tongue, now that we’ve announced it. 😆
“It is neat and kind of funny,” she told us.
