Largest foot rotation

Boy with rotating feet

Maxwell Day from UK has very unique and flexible feet – he can turn his right foot through 157°, and his left foot 143°, pointing at completely different directions. 😂

His talent was discovered at the Minecraft conference Minecon 2015, where he saw a photo of Moses Lanham, who was the record holder for largest foot rotation at the time, and told a member of Guinness World Records staff he could break the record.

He was just 13 at the time!

Longest bout of yawning

A long, long time ago, back in 1888, a 15-year-old girl in the USA had a very unusual problem…

She couldn’t stop yawning! 🥱

After a tooth was taken out, she yawned for 5 WHOLE weeks.

Doctors tried different things to help, like giving her medicine to stop the yawns, but then she started… sneezing instead!

In the end, small doses of special medicine and looots of rest finally helped her recover.

Phew!

Longest legs on a teenager

When she was 16, Maci Currin from USA became a record breaker having the world’s longest legs on a female and the longest legs on a teenager.

How long, you ask?

Well, her left leg measures 135.267 cm (53.255 in), while her right leg measures 134.3 cm (52.874 in) – that’s close to a metre and a half each!

She wanted to go after this record title to inspire tall people everywhere to embrace their height. ❤️

Largest mouth gape

Isaac Johnson from USA is a dentist’s dream – he’s got the world’s largest gape! 😮

We know what you’re wondering… Does it hurt to hold his mouth open like that?

"It doesn't hurt but it can get tiring if I open for a long period of time," he told us.

Isaac has broken the world record not once, but twice!

After someone else claimed his title the first time, he was excited to find that his gape had grown even bigger, reaching an incredible 10.175 cm (4 in) to win it back.

How large is your mouth gape?

Longest sneezing fit

Way back in 1981, a 12-year-old schoolgirl from UK named Donna Griffiths sneezed uncontrollably for 976 days.

That’s over 2 and a half years! 🤯

Donna sneezed about 1 MILLION times in the first year, which is around 100 times per hour.

What would you do if this happened to you?!

Most splits in one minute

Liberty Barros is an INCREDIBLY flexible girl from UK who’s broken multiple records with her astonishing skills.

At the age of 17, she holds the world record titles for:

  • Most splits in 1 minute – 42
  • Fastest 20-metre backbend knee-lock walk – 22.53 seconds
  • Most extreme backbend push-ups in 30 seconds – 17
  • Fastest time to tie a pair of shoelaces in the chest-roll position – 10.46 seconds
