Over 100 doggies sat at the same time for an adorable record
122 good boys and girls gathered in May for the Dogs and Fun Fair in Dortmund, Germany, and they broke a world record! 🐶
All the happy pooches and their owners showed up to the annual funfair to spend a fun day playing with other animal lovers, shopping for new pet supplies, and of course, participating in a Guinness World Records attempt for…
Most dogs sitting simultaneously!

Before the event started, the dogs were invited into a huge room, where they were bribed with treats and scratches while they investigated all the exciting new smells. 🐕
After the total number of participants – both doggies and owners – were counted, everybody was lined up and they started practising.
At the count, all the dogs were commanded to sit (or “sitz!” in German🤪), and after some excitement, a room FULL of adorable puppies sat still for 30 seconds while officials made sure everyone was obeying orders…

Do you have a dog? Do you have fun together?
ALL the dogs successfully sat for 30 seconds, breaking the record as a team!
They are all Officially Amazing. 🥹

“It is truly amazing to set a new Guinness World Records title with the power of so many dogs and their humans,” said the people who participated.
And all the participants in the room were thrilled that their well-behaved dogs could make history – and get some tasty snacks as a reward! 😎

“This demonstrates that animals are also capable of extraordinary achievements and can break or set world records!” said Guinness World Records Adjudicator Seyda Subasi-Gemici.
Do you agree?
Congratulations to all who participated in this adorable attempt – you pooches made history!
