Would you read the world’s LARGEST comic book?

If you like comic books and superheroes, you’re going to love this record!

VeeFriends Comic Book #22: Gentle Giant recently took the record title of the largest comic book published EVER, measuring in at a whopping 7,312.76 cm² (7 ft² 125.48 in²). It is 106.6 cm (3.5 ft) tall, 68.6 cm (2.25 ft) wide, and 0.45 cm (0.01 ft) thick – check it out next to a normal-sized version of the same comic book!

The record-breaking edition has a special cover illustrated by Rob Liefeld, the creator of Deadpool – WOW.

Gary Vaynerchuk, founder of VeeFriends, recently told fans that they’d be revealing the origin of their largest character yet, the Gentle Giant.

He is created through a secret government cloning experiment, but… what is his real purpose?!

You’ll have to read the comic to find out!

“This was a very cool record to be part of,” said our Guinness World Records Adjudicator, Andrew Glass, who oversaw the measuring of the comic during New York Comic Con. “It was fascinating to learn about the logistical challenges involved in creating a comic of this scale, and always fun to experience New York Comic Con!”

Have you ever been to a comic book convention? It’s really fun and you might get to meet some of your favourite superheroes!

In total, only 55 copies of the record-breaking book were produced, each more than 1 metre (3 ft) tall. The comic also weighed in at a whopping 2.83 kg (6.24 lbs) – heavy as a brick, literally!
