So, she found happiness in collecting My Little Pony toys instead!

Years later, she owns the world’s largest collection of My Little Pony memorabilia after amassing 4,550 items related to the adorable horses with colourful hair.

Yes, you read that right!

Her record-breaking collection began with a pink pony called Snowflake, which she still has today.

“As a kid I wanted them all, even though some items were exclusive to other countries,” she told us. “When I realized there was so much out there and I could obtain all those things thanks to the internet it got serious! Around 1997 I started seriously collecting.”

By 2018, her collection was so HUGE she had to move to a bigger house just so she could display it all!

She has many of the classic figures as well as things like backpacks, mugs, clothing, make up and even an arcade ride from about 30 years ago – WOW.

That was tricky for her to get home though.

She explained: “I didn’t realize it would be SO big and I had to sit in the footwell of the car going home. I thought it wouldn’t be so bad as the previous owner had it in his kid's bedroom. What I didn’t realize was he lived in a bungalow and had taken the front door off to get it outside!”

Miranda says that all of her My Little Pony figures still have their unique, delicious smells.

Her rarest item? A pony called Fireball that was made in Thailand, which is one of just 2 she says are known to exist in the whole world.

And of course, some of the items in her collection have been very difficult for Miranda to get her hands on…

“I travelled 2 hours for a grail item before. I have also sent people who live all over the UK to pick up Pony items locally to them! I got into bidding wars at my local auction house for an item recently too.”

Now that’s what we call dedication!

Miranda LOVES it, and she’s not done with her collection just yet!

She still loves looking for new items to add to it, and says there is one in particular that has eluded her so far – an older Pony called Bon Bon, who was a character in the original cartoon from 30 years ago…
