Meet Radha, the world’s smallest water buffalo!
Have you ever seen a water buffalo?
Well, they’re usually a lot taller than the world’s shortest water buffalo, Radha!
Living on the farm of Trimbak Borate in Malawadi, Maharashtra, India, she is an adorable 3-year-old bovine who stands at just 2 ft 8 in (83.8 cm) tall.
She’s just a few inches taller than the shortest woman living, Jyoti Amge, who’s 2 ft 0.7 in (62.8 cm) tall!

But on the other hand, she is almost 4 feet (1.2 m) smaller than the world’s tallest living water buffalo, King Kong (Thailand), who measures a whopping 6 ft 0.8 in (185 cm).
Can you imagine them hanging out?!
Trimbak said to the Free Press Journal that he first noticed just how small Radha is when she was about 2-and-a-half years old, and shortly after his son Aniket, an agricultural graduate, decided to enter her in agricultural exhibitions…
She participated in her first show on 21 December last year, and has since appeared in over 13 different events as a special guest – what a star!

“We are now planning to participate with Radha in international exhibitions,” Trimbak also said, confident that Radha’s uniqueness can draw big crowds from all around the globe.
Water buffalo can be found in many parts of the world, but mostly in protected areas in India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Thailand.
They often spend their time in the swampy marshes and cool waters of South Asia’s wetlands, spreading out their toes to prevent their heavy bodies from sinking into the mud!

So what does a day in Radha’s life look like?
Well, like other buffalo, she also prefers to spend her time crunching on grass and plants, and splashing about in the water.
So we’re hoping that she’ll get some delicious greenery as a present for earning her incredible new title!

Congratulations, Radha, you are Officially Amazing.
