Siblings Day: get inspired by these brothers and sisters who broke records together!
Every year on 10 April we celebrate National Siblings Day, a day dedicated to brothers and sisters all around the world and their special bond!
Do you have any siblings? Do you get along?
It is normal for siblings to fight sometimes but, whether you have brothers, sisters, or both, this day is all about showing them you care.
And here at Guinness World Records, we’re all about celebrating the iconic siblings who broke world records together!
Here are some of our favourite record-breaking duos…
Greatest height difference in identical female twins

Sierra and Sienna “Sinny” Bernal from USA may be identical twins, but there’s over 1 ft between them in height.
Sierra is 170 cm (5 ft 7 in) and Sinny, who has a rare form of dwarfism, is 132 cm (4 ft 4 in).
As a result, the twins may look identical, but you can easily tell them apart by their wildly different heights!
They officially hold the record for the greatest height difference in identical female twins – pretty cool, right?
Most travelled toy ship

Do you think a little toy ship can survive for months in the open sea?
It sounds impossible, and yet it's true!
2 brothers from the UK named Ollie and Harry Ferguson have a common passion for incredible, record-breaking adventures, and together they created a bucket list of 500 things they want to do before they’re officially grown-ups.
Like the idea? Start a bucket list with your sibling!
So one of their bucket-list adventures included a record-breaking toy ship…
Ollie and Harry, together with Jax, Kai and Fynn Lewis (Trinidad and Tobago), achieved the record for the most travelled toy ship (named Adventure 2) which covered 15,439 km (9,593.34 mi).
That is roughly the distance between New York City, USA, and Sydney, Australia, when measured in a straight line!
WOW.
Most synchronised tricks on inline skates in one minute by a team of two
Naemi and Alena Stump are twin sisters from Switzerland with a common love for synchronized inline skating!
In fact, they set not 1 but 2 world records together on a 3.9-metre (12-ft 9-in) vert ramp:
- Most synchronized tricks on inline skates in 30 seconds (11)
- Most synchronized tricks on inline skates in 1 minute (21)
Naemi and Alena are very athletic and they’re into all kinds of sports, such as:
- Freestyle skiing
- Skateboarding
- Free skating and roller skating
- Ice hockey
Do you like any of the same sports?
Most basketball three pointers in 1 minute by a team of two

At just 15 and 14 years old, respectively, brothers Cole and Caleb Krueger from USA broke a basketball record that was originally set by the pros themselves – the Harlem Globetrotters!
They scored 20 hoops to claim the record for the most basketball three pointers in 1 minute (team of 2).
The boys’ advice for anyone who’s trying to break a sporty record is:
“Consistently practising and not getting discouraged if you have an off day.
“Some days are harder than others to get up and feel great about putting in the work, but it is important to set a goal that gets you excited about practising because of the outcome you could have.”
Tallest GEOMAG tower

In 2023, 13-year-old Ilija and 8-year-old Luka broke a record with their dad, Dragan Pejovski (all from Serbia) on a national TV show!
They built the world’s tallest GEOMAG tower, at a height of 3.46 m (11.35 ft).
What can we say, sometimes record breaking is a family affair.
Remember: being kind to your siblings isn't just for one day - you can be a great brother or sister every day!
