If you like LEGO® and Star Wars, keep on reading!

Haddon Haste, a 12-year-old from Louisville in Kentucky, USA, has broken the record for the fastest time to build the LEGO® Star Wars Millennium Falcon micro fighter

Haddon managed to build all pieces together in a speedy time of 1 min 59.72 sec!

He first got the idea to attempt a Guinness World Records title from watching fellow record breakers Dude Perfect online.

Haddon decided to make the most of the COVID shutdown by setting his sights on a specific record.

Will a little help from his dad, Matthew, Haddon researched various options and finally found a record that combined two of his favourite interests: LEGO® and Star Wars. Yay!

Haddon practiced every day until he reached success - that's dedication for you!

"I am proud of my son for his hard work on this record attempt," Matthew said.

Now Haddon has the Millennium Falcon micro fighter record under his belt, maybe he'll decide (with a little help) to attempt the fastest time to build the LEGO® Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon™ (team)?

This record currently is 2 hr 51 min 47 sec and is held by Johannes Roesch, Kathi Stutz, Ralf Johannes and Gabriel Cabrera Parra (all Germany).

Or perhaps Haddon will go on to have the largest collection of LEGO® Star Wars interlocking plastic brick sets - the current record consists of 645 sets, as of 23 May 2020, and belongs to Matthew Hines (USA), who lives in Evans, Georgia, USA.

But for now, we're celebrating Haddon's incredible LEGO® building achievement -it's clear to see that the force is strong with this one!

Who else thinks they can channel Haddon's dedication and go on to break their very own record?
