Longest chain of sleds
Back in 2017, a very fun event was held in a magical ski resort in Austria’s Bramberg, with the intention of attempting the record title of longest chain of sleds. 🛷
Hundreds of people attended and, in the end, 508 people rode down a slow slope together on one continuous sled, made out of 508 normal-sized sleds linked together!
Now that’s what we call a true winter snow spectacle. ❄️
Fastest time to eat 3 mince pies
Before we explain this record, we should warn you that you really, truly SHOULD NOT TRY THIS AT HOME.
The current record holder, Leah Shutkever (UK), is a competitive speed eater and multiple Guinness World Records title holder, with years of experience in breaking all kinds of food-related records!
In this Christmas-themed record, she ate 3 mince pies in just 52.21 seconds.
And she managed to make it look as easy as pie…🥧
Highest-charting holiday song

“All I Want for Christmas Is You” by Marah Carey is the Highest-charting holiday (Christmas/New Year) song on the Billboard US Hot 100.
No wonder Mariah’s nickname is ‘Queen of Christmas’!
Largest dome igloo (snow)
Have you ever seen an igloo? It’s also known as a snow house or snow hut. 🥶
The Iglu-Dorf building crew (Switzerland), along with Volvo, created the largest dome igloo (snow) with a diameter of 12.9 meters (42 feet 4 inches)and aheight of 10.5 meters (34 feet 6 inches).
That’s two times as tall as a giraffe! 🦒🦒
Largest gathering of Santa’s Elves
In 2014, 1,762 Thai children and adults took part in this record-setting event, dressed in officially approved elf costumes, to celebrate Christmas in the most special way! ✨

Santa’s six main elves are: Alabaster Snowball, Bushy Evergreen, Pepper Minstix, Shinny Upatree, Sugarplum Mary, and Wunorse Openslae (sound it out, “one horse open sleigh,” get it?)
World’s tallest snowperson
Did you know?
The world’s tallest snowman… is actually a snow woman! ☃️
Residents of Bethel, Maine, USA, and surrounding towns, built a snow woman measuring 37.21 meters (122 feet 1 inches) tall, over a period of one month in 2008.
Her name was Olympia, and she was only a few feet shorter than the Statue of Liberty!
