Families can do amazing things when they work together…
Some even make it into the record books. 💪
Well, if you’ve had enough of board games and movie night, it’s time for you and your family to take on a new challenge – breaking a world record!
For inspiration, check out these families who already did it and were even featured in the Guinness World Records 2025 book. 🤩
Whether you team up with a sibling, parent, grandparent or cousin, we are sure these stories will give you some fun ideas for records you could attempt together.
Tallest GEOMAG tower
A dad and 2 sons from Belgrade, Serbia, wanted to achieve something great together, so they set the world record by building a 3.46 m (11.35 ft) tall GEOMAG tower…
On national TV! 🤯
🔎 In case you didn't know, GEOMAG is a super fun and creative magnetic construction toy, consisting of bars with a magnet on each end and metal spheres. Magnetic forces hold the bars and spheres together, and you can build pretty much anything you want with them!
Dragan Pejovski and his sons, Ilija and Luka, play all sorts of games and have lots of fun together.
What do you like to do with your family?
According to Dragan, this experience taught them a valuable lesson; that “you can do a lot when you have good goals and are ready to work toward them.”
The Nunan sisters’ many records
Lara and Ashley Nunan are the queens of rapid recall! 🧠

From Marvel characters to US presidents, they can name them all at lightning speed!

Largest GPS drawing by bicycle (team)
Frédéric de Lanouvelle and his daughter Mathilde make a super cool duo. 😎
To celebrate Mathilde’s 16th birthday, they decided to embark on an adventure where they discovered their home country whilst getting a positive message out to the world.
From 16 to 31 August of 2023, they biked across France for a distance of 2,162 km (1,343 mi) to create the world's largest GPS drawing in the shape of… a heart! ❤️
Not only did they break a world record together, but they also raised over €26,000 (£22,546 / $27,335) for the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association, which will help save 2 children.
What an incredible story. 🥹
The Sabba boys’ many records
Just like the Nunan sisters, Silvio and Cristian Sabba are another family duo with multiple record titles under their names. 🏆
After Silvio had gotten into the groove of training and achieving great success in record breaking, his son Cristian was inspired to follow in his footsteps.
Finally, in 2021, they decided to combine forces to achieve the fastest time to stack a set of dominoes by a team of two, with the incredible time of just 10.31 seconds!
Silvio currently holds around 200 RECORDS 🤯, making him a true legend in the world of record-breaking.
