As if breaking one Guinness World Records title isn’t impressive enough, these committed champions have claimed over 100 each! 🌟
And not only have they broken a wide range of records, but they’ve also kept improving some of their favourites, continuously surpassing their personal bests.
How cool is that?! 😮
It’s important to know that these record breakers are just ordinary people like you and me. Yet over time, they’ve become GWR heroes, thanks to their relentless determination, passion and consistency.
Just think, this could be YOU! 🫵
In 1978, Ashrita Furman (USA) entered a 24-hour bicycle race in New York, USA, and despite not training for the event, he still finished third! 🚴
This life-changing experience taught Ashrita that anything was achievable if he believed in himself and didn’t put limitations on his potential.
A year later, he claimed his first world record by completing 27,000 jumping jacks in just 6 hours 45 minutes!
Ashrita told GWR: “I would tell my younger self that it is not going to be easy and a lot of people will not believe in you at the start but that is ok, you have got this.
“Take it one step at a time, you can do it. Don’t give up.”
Amazing advice! 👏
Stomping to success on GWR Day in 2010, Ashrita set the record for the heaviest shoes walked in, which weighed 146.5kg (323 lbs) – that’s roughly the same weight as an adult panda! 🐼

David Rush (USA) definitely deserves his nickname, “Record Breaker Rush”!
In 2015, David accomplished his first world record for the longest duration juggling three objects blindfolded - 6 minutes 34 seconds. 🤹♂️
David still holds this record, and it now stands at 1 hour 3 minutes 4 seconds, as of 15 December 2023.
Can you imagine juggling for that long… BLINDFOLDED? 🫨
In 2024, David visited GWR HQ in London, UK and broke 15 records in just 1 day, including the fastest time to fold and throw a paper aircraft - 5.12 seconds!
He also achieved the most table tennis balls bounced and caught in shaving foam on the head in 30 seconds (individual) – 16.
This sounds like so much fun! 😂

Since securing his first GWR title in 2011, Italy’s Silvio Sabba has been on a mission to become the best in the world at whatever he puts his mind to!
His record portfolio includes the most 500ml plastic bottles balanced on one finger. ☝️
How many could you balance on one finger?
When Silvio first broke the record in July 2013, he managed 9 bottles.
However, he has since surpassed this mark a further 4 times, so the record now stands at 25! 🫨
The personal trainer has also set records with his son Cristian, including the fastest time to stack a set of dominoes (team of two) – 10.31 seconds, as of 7 January 2021.
Silvio told GWR: “For me, breaking records means working to become the very best in the world in whatever I do.” 🏆

Germany’s Andre Ortolf is an all-rounder!
He’s gained records to do with everything from food and fancy dress to musical instruments and memory recall. 🍴 🎅 🎹 🧠
Which GWR title would you like to attempt?
One of his many food-related records is the most chocolate spread eaten in one minute - 435 g; 15.34 oz, as of 24 April 2020. 🍫
Reflecting on his passion for record-breaking, Andre said: “I think what I love about records is that I can be who I am.
“I'm living my dream and can show humanity that nothing is impossible if you just believe in yourself. I'm living proof of that.” ❤️

Christian Roberto López Rodríguez of Spain is yet to join the 100 club, but with over 80 records under his belt, it’s only fair to give him a mention. 👏
Will 2025 be the year Christian claims his 100th record?
As a personal trainer and sport science lecturer, many of Christian’s records are centred around running and climbing, such as the fastest mile dribbling a football (male) - 5 minutes 40 seconds, as of 9 December 2023. ⚽
But he isn’t limited to that!
In April 2020, he achieved the longest duration balancing a bicycle on the chin – 9 minutes 41.29 seconds!
He told GWR: “I love to get out of my comfort zone to explore new goals.” 😊
