Meet the record-breaking kids who made it into the Guinness World Records 2026 book

Meet our amazing Young Achievers, a group of super-talented kids who hold some incredible records despite their young age. 🤩
They even made it into the Guinness World Records 2026 book, which is out now!
Curious to get to know them and discover their cool talents?
Their stories could be the push you need to try breaking a record yourself... 😎
Youngest artist
Meet Ace-Liam, the world’s youngest male artist! 🎨
He broke the record at the age of 1 year and 152 days (still a toddler!) and since then, he’s created over 20 amazing paintings, sold many of them and got the attention of the First Lady of the Republic of Ghana.
Little Ace-Liam Nana Sam Ankrah from Ghana just loves the feel of the paint on his hands, the bright colours and the ability to express himself through painting.
Are you artsy like Ace-Liam? Maybe you could break a creative record. 👀
Speedcubing legend
Yiheng Wang from China has a very particular talent: he can solve rotating puzzle cubes really, REALLY fast. 🤯
If you’ve ever tried to solve a puzzle cube – those colourful blocks that you have to twist and turn to try to match up all the colours on each side – then you’ll know how hard it is.
People even get into global competitions for it!
Well, Yiheng is such a speedcubing legend that he’s not only won in several competitions despite his young age, but he also holds 2 world records:
- Fastest time to solve a 3x3x3 rotating puzzle cube (3.08 seconds)
- Fastest average time to solve a 2x2x2 rotating puzzle cube (0.88 seconds)
Skateboarding gold medallist
Australian skateboarding champion Mia Kretzer is the world’s youngest female X Games gold medallist!
She got her first skateboard when she was 5 and she just never stopped practising, every day that she could, until she was ready to snatch the gold medal – and a few world record titles.🛹
She said: “Skating allows me to hang out with my friends; smashing our goals together is the best feeling!”
Team work makes the dream work.
Waterskiing champion
Teen water-skier Jake Abelson from USA holds the record for the most points from waterskiing tricks (male).
Growing up, he’s always longed to break a world record and after years of effort, he made that dream a reality… TWICE! 🏆
Jake told us: “I love that waterskiing is a sport that can be practised with friends and family. I love the freedom behind the boat and the ability to perform tricks on the wake.”
Human calculator
His name is Aaryan Shukla, he’s from India and numbers are his superpower.
He can solve just about any calculation in seconds, without using a calculator – just his brain! 🤓
Oh, and he’s got a bunch of different world record titles to prove it.
When asked about the process of mental maths, he simply said: “I cannot explain what happens inside my head, I just do it naturally. Basically, it’s so fast that you can’t think.”
Hoverboard pro
Bianca Ciocirlan is a super-talented figure skater and hoverboard pro from Romania, who broke a record by doing 45 seated pirouettes in just 30 seconds on her hoverboard!
“Breaking a world record at 13 was UNBELIEVABLE,” she told us. “It’s a day I’ll never forget.”

Eco hero
Another Young Achiever who’s good in front of a camera is Aneeshwar Kunchala from the UK.
This 10-year-old loves animals and the planet so much, that when he was just 7 years and 288 days old, he became the youngest boy to present a documentary called COP27: Six Ways to Save Our Planet, and at 8 years and 76 days old, he started writing as the youngest newspaper columnist for First News.📰
