Indian brothers Rohan and Rahul Dayal have built an epic race track with 10 loop-the-loops

They have broken the record for most loop-the-loops in a Hot Wheels track😎

The siblings spent three days carefully constructing this gravity-defying track and the wooden platform to put it on. 👷‍♂️

The brothers are big Hot Wheels collectors, so they already owned a lot of cars. However, in order to build so many loops and break the world record, they had to spend INR 3500 (£35) on some more orange track pieces. 🚗

"Testing was initially with a few loops and as we increased the loops and the length of the track, the project became challenging," Rohan said.

"Since the track became long it needed to be supported on a firmer wooden platform. The longer the platform, the greater was the weight and bending in the center."

After putting the track together, Rohan and Rahul tested a car on it. They found that the car went at different speeds depending on the angle of the track.

A car needs to be moving very fast to get through all those loop-the-loops! 🚙💨

By building a wooden support leg, they could easily adjust the angle and find out how to make the car go as fast and as far as possible😁

The steeper they made the track, the faster the car travelled. However, it often went too fast and fell off the track completely! 🤕

Luckily, the car survived its many crashes. Even though it kept falling off, Rohan and Rahul only needed it to work once to achieve the record. Eventually, the car completed all 10 loop-the-loops and the brothers made Hot Wheels history. 🏁😄

The brothers have been racing toy cars since they were kids. 🚘👦

"As a child, I liked playing with toy cars. I would make my wooden toy car and make it slide on sloping surfaces," Rohan said.

"During this time I was gifted with Hot Wheels cars and tracks which came with super smooth cars and steep sloping tracks. Soon I had a good collection of it.”

"Recently I came to know about the Guinness World Record of 8 loops and decided that I can better the record."

The brothers still think they can improve on their record and add an extra loop or two to their track. 😵

Rohan describes being a Guinness World Records title holder as the "best thing I've ever got" and a "proud moment for both me and my family".

He hopes that he and his brother's record will serve as "an inspiration to do better and create greater records". 🤩
